how do you count your days ?

our rental days are based on a 24 hour period, the time that you pick it up is when it is due back.

how reliable are your cars ?

our cars are very reliable. We employ our own technicians who service the cars on a routine basis, and the cars are subjected to a full safety check each at each service.

what happens if they breakdown ?

if in the event of something unforeseen happening then you would give us a call and we send one of our technicians out immediately from the nearest store to get you going. if the problem cannot be fixed permanently then we swap you into another car so that you may proceed.

we do provide after hours service through the r.a.c.v and r.a.c.q

am I covered if I lock my keys in the car?

no, our roadside cover does not include non-mechanical problems such as, keys locked in the car,
lost keys, running out of petrol etc. a fee may apply, ask in store.

can I return the car to another store ?

unfortunately not. the car needs to be returned to the store from which it was rented from.

can I return the car outside of your office hours ?

no. all cars are to be returned during office hours. if the car is returned outside of our office hours it will be
at your own risk until the car is checked in by a rental officer. to see hours of operation

how old do I have to be ?

you need to be at least 23 years old to rent a car. an age surcharge of $10.00 per day applies to drivers
23 - 24 years of age when renting a new car.

can I get someone else to rent the car and I drive if I am too young ?

no. all drivers need to have their details and signatures on the rental contact in order to be covered
for any damages.

how do I pay for the rental ?

you can pay in either cash or credit card for our used cars or credit card only for the new cars.
you are required to pay for the rental and deposit when you pick up the vehicle.

can I pay on return ?

no. the rental and deposit needs to paid in advance before the car is taken.

can someone else pay on my behalf with their credit card ?

yes, but you need to make prior arrangements with the relevant store because they will need
to sign the contract.

how far can I travel with your cars ?

our used cars are only permitted within the metropolitan area which is approximately
a 50 kilometer radius (see
locations maps). if you enquire in store, there is some travel permitted
beyond this boundary for a small fee. however our new cars are permitted to travel anywhere within
that state.

do you provide baby seats ?

no we do not. All of our vehicles either have baby fitment bolts or provision to fit one and the store can usually direct you to the nearest company that can.
you may find that the local council may also be able to supply them.
